Manchester United winger Jesse Lingard showed why he’s a firm fan favourite at Old Trafford with this brilliant teaser for Red Devils supporters during his Instagram live takeover.
The England international shared a brief video of himself at United’s training ground, where he jokingly welcomed a new signing to the club off-camera.
This comes as the Sun claim Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez has agreed on a big-money contract to move to United this January.
Given that there are few other major transfer rumours involving United at the moment, it’s clearly implied that Lingard is teasing fans over Sanchez in this short clip.
In the footage below, Lingard says, without any audible reply: ‘Morning doc. Oh, hello, welcome. You ok? How are you? Hope you enjoy your time here. Enjoy the medical, enjoy … bye.’

The 25-year-old then bursts out laughing, while the caption ‘only joking’ accompanies the entirety of the footage.
