Real Madrid star opens transfer talks with Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool & Tottenham

Real Madrid winger Gareth Bale has reportedly opened talks with Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham as he looks for a transfer back to the Premier League.

The former Spurs man hasn’t had the best of times at the Bernabeu of late, despite a decent patch of form at the start of 2018 so far.

According to Don Balon, Real have decided to offload Bale in the summer after his injury troubles, and the player himself is also keen to move on and play in England again.

The Wales international was one of the league’s top players during his White Hart Lane days and Don Balon claim a move back to north London could be an option.

As well as that, the Spanish outlet link him as being in talks with United, Chelsea and Liverpool, and there’s no doubt that at his best he could play a key role in any of those sides.

Bale’s pace and eye for goal make him a real threat when he’s on form, though it’s fair to say he’s not been able to impose himself fully in this Madrid side and could benefit from a different system.

So often sharing the limelight with Cristiano Ronaldo, Bale hasn’t been allowed to become the star of this team, but he may get more freedom to do so back in the Premier League.

The 28-year-old has, however, won plenty of major honours in his time in Spain, lifting three Champions League titles with Los Blancos.
