Real Madrid are reportedly ready to offer two first-team players to Manchester United in what could be a sensational transfer swoop for David de Gea.
It seems the Spanish giants are desperate to land a new goalkeeper and could throw everything at United to ensure the deal happens, according to Don Balon.
The Spanish source claims Real would be happy to offload both Keylor Navas and Mateo Kovacic in order to push the move through, in what would be a huge transfer story.
United would not want to lose a world class shot-stopper like De Gea, but Real urgently need a big name like him after missing out on Kepa this January.
The Athletic Bilbao ‘keeper ended up signing a new contract at his current club, with Marca now claiming Real will look at De Gea or Chelsea’s Thibaut Courtois instead.
De Gea would be an ideal Galactico signing for that all-important position at the Bernabeu, but United could also do well out of the deal if they land both Navas and Kovacic.
The former would be a decent replacement for De Gea in goal, while Kovacic has shown plenty of potential in midfield in the past, even if he hasn’t been a regular for Los Blancos.
United could also do with being gifted a signing like that in central midfield as Michael Carrick will be retiring at the end of the season and Marouane Fellaini looks set to become a free agent.
