Arsenal defender Nacho Monreal is enjoying a purple patch in front of goal, and the Gunners faithful are certainly not complaining.
Following on from his heroics in the win over Crystal Palace at the weekend, the Spaniard was in on the act again in the League Cup semi-final clash with Chelsea on Wednesday night.

He was very fortunate given the double deflection off the two Chelsea defenders before it found the back of the net, but that didn’t stop the Arsenal fans below from praising him.
It’s quite the run that Monreal is on, as he had directly contributed to four goals in just 46 minutes of play after his latest effort, with two goals and two assists, provided this one is given to him.
Marcos Alonso was at fault given he lost his compatriot while marking him on the corner, but between him and Antonio Rudiger, there was a real stroke of bad luck for the visitors.
Nevertheless, they still held the advantage at half-time after Eden Hazard had given them the lead after just seven minutes at the Emirates, with Chelsea holding the away goal.
However, with Monreal in the side, anything is seemingly possible for Arsenal. Perhaps the likes of Alexandre Lacazette and Mesut Ozil will give him a helping hand moving forward…
