Liverpool target Alisson Becker will cost the Reds €50m as Jurgen Klopp looks for a new goalkeeper.

Alisson has been in fine form for Roma this season and has been a talisman in the Serie A side’s surprise charge for the league title.

The Brazilian is 25-years-old and 2017/18 has been a season in which Alisson has emerged and established himself as one of the finest ‘keepers within Europe.

A report from the Spanish outlet Marca has valued the Brazilian with a €50m price-tag with the Liverpool Echo reporting in the last month that the Reds have been seriously impressed by the goalkeeper’s performances this season.

Liverpool certainly look to be pursuing a move for a new goalkeeper in the summer with The Express also reporting that Jurgen Klopp has also been looking at landing a move for Atletico Madrid’s Jan Oblak.

Liverpool have conceded 29 goals in the Premier League this season which is over ten more than Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City.

It appears that Klopp foresees a new ‘keeper as a solution to the Reds’ poor defensive form.
