Manchester United need to sign four huge players this summer with one of them being Tottenham’s Danny Rose according to former United legend Paul Ince.
The Manchester Evening News have reported comments from the former Red Devils midfielder who insists that despite a recent return to fine form that Mourinho and Man United need to look to sign four players in the summer.
Ince went on to state that despite Mourinho’s recently renewed faith in left-back Luke Shaw that he doesn’t foresee the Englishman nor Matteo Darmian as possessing the quality to become consistent and regular full-backs at Old Trafford.
Instead, Ince pointed to Danny Rose stating, “Danny Rose is a name that keeps popping up, with him not getting a game at Tottenham, and he would be fantastic at United. If I was Mourinho, I’d be looking to sign him.” (Comments as per the MEN)
However, Rose is certainly likely to cost a hefty fee for the Old Trafford board. The Daily Mirror reported earlier this month that Rose would cost United £50m.
It remains to be seen whether United could be Rose’s next club but the Englishman has made just five appearances this season for Spurs, which would indicate that the Tottenham full-back could be coming towards the end of his time in North London.
