Chelsea suffered an embarrassing 3-0 defeat at the hands of Bournemouth at Stamford Bridge this evening, as the Blues’ poor form continued.
The away side took the lead through Callum Wilson, after Tiemoue Bakayoko gave the ball away before Wilson was put through and slotted home to give the Cherries the advantage.
Eddie Howe’s side then doubled their advantage, as some neat play from Wilson and Stanislas saw the former West Ham winger slot home.
Nathan Ake then scored against his former club just minutes later, as the defender turned home a shot from Stanislas to all but wrap up the points for the Cherries.
Following the result, Chelsea have now won just two of their last nine games in all competitions, a very poor run of form.
Player of the Match
Former Blues defender Nathan Ake was fantastic tonight, with the Dutchman leading the Cherries’ defence against the reigning Premier League champions.
As well as being solid at the back, Ake also managed to contribute in the goals department, as he grabbed his side’s third in their rout at the Bridge.

Someone remind me why we sold Nathan Aké? Top class player #CHEBOU

Flop of the Match
Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko had an absolute shocker today, with the Frenchman putting in a lacklustre performance against Bournemouth.
The former Monaco man was at fault for Bournemouth’s second goal, a strike that all but ended the Blues’ chances of getting back in the match
This tweet does pretty well to sum the player’s game up tonight
Really, really poor from Bakayoko, who just gave the ball away. Shocking.

Stat of the Match
We guess it just wasn’t the Blues’ night tonight…
3 – Bournemouth have scored three goals in a Premier League away game against a 'top six' opponent for the very first time. Onslaught.

Reaction
Fans were furious with Antonio Conte following the full time whistle at Stamford Bridge
I've always defended Conte but this is just unacceptable. Embarrassing display.

Chelsea’s 3-0 loss is all down to Conte imo. His formation, his tactics and everything is just horrendous. You’d want to see some sense of urgency and to get a rhythm going when you’re 3-0 down but no. Conte is finito.

Antonio Conte has to go. No game plan, no strategy, players clearly given up on him.
