Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi has been pictured in his Borussia Dortmund medical as transfer deadline day seems to be going to plan for the Blues so far.
As noted by the Telegraph, Batshuayi’s move to the Bundesliga giants should mean he makes way for Olivier Giroud to join Chelsea, with Arsenal only keen to let the Frenchman go once a deal for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was wrapped up.
That deal has been officially announced this morning, meaning Dortmund must be confident of landing their replacement in the form of Batshuayi.

The Belgium international has now been pictured undergoing his medical examinations, with HLN journalist Kristof Terreur tweeting a snap of the player in Dortmund-branded training gear.
It is not yet clear when this deal can finally be made official, but it seems only a matter of time before the 24-year-old is announced as a Dortmund player, which should also be good news in terms of Giroud moving to Stamford Bridge.
Batshuayi has struggled to establish himself during his brief stay at Chelsea, and Giroud should be an upgrade due to being more suited to Antonio Conte’s style of play.
Still, Dortmund will also feel they’ve done well if they can land the promising Batshuayi as a replacement for Aubameyang, with the player showing plenty of potential during his Marseille days even if he hasn’t quite hacked it in the Premier League.
With more playing time likely to be available to him in Germany, this seems a good opportunity for Batshuayi to get his career back on track.
