Manchester United fans are adamant that Marouane Fellaini will leave in the summer after being subbed off after seven minutes by Jose Mourinho against Tottenham.

Manchester United were 2-0 down at Wembley after a sensational Christian Eriksen opener which stunned the visitors after just eleven seconds and a second courtesy of a Phil Jones own goal on the 28th minute. Mourinho turned to the bench for inspiration on the hour mark and introduced Fellaini to the action.

Fellaini replaced Pogba on the 63rd minute but lasted just seven minutes and was taken off by Mourinho with Ander Herrera replacing the Belgian.

Reports then followed that Fellaini stormed down the tunnel and threw his Manchester United top to the ground in frustration.

Fellaini moved to United from Everton under David Moyes for a fee of £27.5m in 2013 and it is fair to say that the midfielder has had a mixed experience in his past four-and-a-half years at Old Trafford. (Fee per the BBC)

While reports remain unclear as to whether Fellaini was pulled from the action due to injury or just a dismal performance it looks as though the midfielder’s time at United could be coming to the end with many Manchester United fans suggesting that this signals the start of the end for Fellaini at Old Trafford.
