Chelsea and Manchester United could both miss out as reports in Spain claim Atletico Madrid want Ousmane Dembele as part of any transfer deal for Antoine Griezmann.
Barcelona are keen to sign Griezmann but Don Balon claim Atletico boss Diego Simeone is requesting Dembele to be included in an exchange deal this summer.
Previous reports from Don Balon claimed Barca were prepared to sanction an early exit for Dembele, despite only just paying £131million for him last summer.
This followed reports, also by Don Balon, that Chelsea were interested in pouncing for the young France international as a potential replacement for their own star forward Eden Hazard.
Previously regarded as one of the best young players in Europe, Dembele has struggled to get going at the Nou Camp due to injuries and a relative lack of impact when he has been on the pitch.
Still, the 20-year-old could well revive his career if given the chance to leave for a club like Chelsea or Atletico Madrid.
United, meanwhile, continue to be linked with Griezmann by Diario Gol, though a move to either Barcelona or Real Madrid perhaps seems more likely for the 26-year-old.
Griezmann has been one of the top attacking players in Europe in recent years and would make a fine buy for any elite club side.
