Real Madrid starlet Marco Asensio has reportedly asked club president Florentino Perez to get him a transfer away from the Bernabeu this summer due to his poor relationship with manager Zinedine Zidane.
The French tactician used Asensio more often in his first-team last season, but no longer seems to fully trust the highly-rated 22-year-old after increasingly leaving him on the bench this term.
A number of top clubs have recently been linked with the Spain international, with Don Balon recently claiming Manchester United wanted him as part of any deal involving David de Gea moving to Madrid.
Similarly, Chelsea could also be keen on signing Asensio as part of an exchange involving their own star player Eden Hazard, according to another report from Don Balon.
Liverpool were also said to have made a bid for the attacker recently, with Don Balon suggesting they were ready to pay big to bring him to Anfield following the departure of Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona.
The latest from Don Balon is that Asensio is looking for a way out, with Chelsea again mentioned as a possible destination.
The Spanish outlet claim Asensio has lost patience with manager Zidane and has spoken to Perez about being granted an exit.
If Premier League clubs do remain keen on the player, this will be music to their ears ahead of the summer as one of the best young players in Europe could potentially be available.
