Dele Alli made the headlines for the wrong reason on Sunday after he was booked for diving in Tottenham’s 2-2 draw with Liverpool at Anfield.

It was a thrilling encounter between the two sides with plenty of controversy and talking points created over the two penalty decisions which eventually saw Harry Kane score a dramatic late spot-kick to secure a share of the spoils.

However, Alli was shown a yellow card in the 69th minute of the game for diving, and that was the second time this season that the 21-year-old has been punished for simulation as he risks getting a poor reputation for it moving forward.

At the time, Liverpool defenders Dejan Lovren and Andrew Robertson were both seen standing over Alli as they were furious with his dive, and the Croatian international has seemingly taken it a step further with the brilliant Instagram post below poking fun at his rival, as seen below.

He’s captioned it: “Robo I will tell him…”

Spurs arguably got the last laugh having come away with a point from Anfield, but Lovren couldn’t help but  rub salt into the wound for Alli and remind everyone of his diving antics at the weekend…

Robo I will tell him…??
