Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois is reportedly ready to make a major sacrifice in order to leave the club and seal a transfer to Real Madrid.
According to Don Balon, the Belgium international is so desperate to get out of Stamford Bridge that he’d accept a pay cut to move to the Bernabeu this summer.

Courtois is one of the finest ‘keepers in the world and would be an ideal signing for Real Madrid as an upgrade on Keylor Navas, though his departure looks a potentially huge blow for Chelsea.
Courtois has just a year left on his current Chelsea contract, so it could be that CFC are forced to let him go this summer if they are to avoid losing him for free.
It would be hard to replace the 26-year-old, who was in inspired form for Belgium tonight as they beat Brazil to reach the World Cup semi-finals, but a deal may already be in the works.
Chelsea have agreed personal terms with Brazilian ‘keeper Alisson, but still have to come to an agreement over a transfer fee with his club Roma, according to Il Tempo, as translated by the Metro.
