A meeting between Real Madrid star Gareth Bale and manager Julen Lopetegui is high on the agenda for Monday as the Wales international considers his future at the Bernabeu.
This follows recent talk from the Manchester Evening News that Bale and Man Utd transfer talks were at an advanced stage, which itself has followed plenty more speculation over the player’s future in recent times.
The 28-year-old attacker notably hinted he could seek an exit from Madrid after his stunning performance in last season’s Champions League final, when he came off the bench to score twice in the win over Liverpool.
Bale was unhappy, however, at not starting the match and suggested he generally needed to be playing more and that he’d discuss this with his agent over the summer.
"I need to be playing week-in-week-out…that hasn't happened this season."

With Bale seemingly looking for a way out, the Daily Mirror have claimed Madrid could ask for around £100million for him, which seems a fair price for a top attacking player in this market.
The latest update comes from the Daily Mail, who state that Bale will talk things over with new Los Blancos boss Lopetegui, perhaps as early as when he returns for pre-season on Monday.
The former Tottenham man seems yet to commit to any decision, despite the MEN’s claims that he’s had advanced talks with United.
Cristiano Ronaldo leaving Real could benefit Bale’s chances of being a focal point of the team, but the Mail also note the Spanish giants’ interest in Chelsea forward Eden Hazard, who’d most likely be yet another rival up front.
