Chelsea reportedly look set to finalise the €60million transfer of Juventus striker Gonzalo Higuain today, according to sources in Italy.
Tuttosport describes the Blues’ €60m offer as closing the deal, in what looks a hugely exciting addition for the west London giants in what has been a difficult summer overall.

Higuain has been one of the best strikers in the world for much of his career, enjoying a highly prolific scoring record at every club he’s been at.
It is arguably in Serie A that the Argentina international has most come to life, with 91 goals in three seasons at Napoli, and a further 55 in two years with Juve.
It seems pretty clear that if Higuain can come close to keeping that kind of form up in the Premier League he’d be a major upgrade on Alvaro Morata, who has struggled at Stamford Bridge so far.
The 25-year-old managed just 15 goals in all competitions in his first season with Chelsea, missing some big chances in important games.
With RMC reporting that both Eden Hazard and Thibaut Courtois are targets for Real Madrid, Chelsea’s new manager Maurizio Sarri could do with this boost of landing a big name like Higuain.
