Cristiano Ronaldo has asked Juventus not to sell teammate Miralem Pjanic this summer, with the winger also giving the club the go-ahead to make a move for Real Madrid ace Marcelo.

This is being noted by Don Balon, who report that the new marquee signing of the Old Lady wants to win the Champions League with the club, and that to do this he needs the best side around him possible, thus he wants Pjanic to stay with him in Turin.

Marcelo would be an absolutely fine acquisition by Juventus should they manage to sign him, as the Brazilian has proven himself to be one the greatest players on the planet in recent seasons.

The defender has been one the most important big-game players in the Los Blancos side that has managed to win a historic three consecutive Champions League titles.

Ronaldo has demanded Pjanic be kept at the club this summer

Don Balon have stated in the past that Juve have a €100M asking price for Pjanic, something that may not be necessary anymore following Ronaldo’s demands.

The Bosnian has been sensational for the club since his move from rivals Roma in the summer of 2016, with the player being key in Juve winning the last two Serie A titles.

The midfielder ability on the ball and keen eye for a pass would be crucial for Ronaldo, as it means Pjanic can be the creative force behind that he needs to succeed in Turin.

If Juve end up listening to Ronaldo, we may could easily see the Italian side build a squad that is more than capable of winning the Champions league this season. Watch this space.
