Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba could still be on his way to Barcelona before the end of the transfer window for European clubs later this month.
According to a stunning report from Don Balon, the France international is on the market after a request from his agent Mino Raiola to sell the player immediately.
This follows the high-profile transfer negotiator tweeting a couple of explosive messages about his client in recent days.

United legend Paul Scholes was highly critical of Pogba’s form, leading Raiola to tweet that he should return to Old Trafford as a sporting director to sell the former Juventus man.
Paul Scholes should become sports director and advise Woodward to sell Pogba. Would be sleepless nights to find Pogba a new club @paulpogba

It certainly doesn’t look good for United regarding their star midfielder, with Don Balon reporting he’s the preferred target for Barcelona, who’d be prepared to sell Ivan Rakitic to Paris Saint-Germain in order to meet Pogba’s £89million asking price.
This perhaps seems unlikely from United’s point of view, considering the transfer window for English clubs is now closed until January, meaning Jose Mourinho could not bring in a replacement for the next four months.
While Pogba’s form for the Red Devils has not been the best, he has scored in each of his opening two Premier League games this season after returning to the club a World Cup winner after this summer’s exploits with France.

On his day, the 25-year-old is undoubtedly one of the best in the world, which is why Don Balon suggest he’d be so popular at Barca.
It might now be trickier for United to keep him if his agent Raiola pushing for a move has indeed led to him being put up for sale as reported by Don Balon, though MUFC still seem in a fairly strong position overall if they do decide to keep the player.
