Done deal? LEAKED pic shows Arsenal star posing in new club’s kit

Danny Welbeck to Galatasaray may well be a done deal as a picture has been doing the rounds online of the Arsenal striker in his club’s new kit.

It remains to be seen if this is simply a photoshopped effort by some overly-excited Turkish fans (or perhaps Gooners who are THAT desperate to see the back of the England international), but it follows speculation that the club were lining up an offer.

Welbeck does not look like being a regular for Arsenal this season under new manager Unai Emery, which comes as little surprise after his disappointing form since he joined the Gunners back in 2014.

The 27-year-old was a key player at previous club Manchester United, and many felt he could benefit from playing at a club like Arsenal, where he was expected to become even more of a regular in his preferred centre-forward role.

It hasn’t worked out that way, however, with Welbeck scoring just 27 goals in four seasons, only once reaching double figures in a single campaign – last year when he managed 10 in all competitions.

That is far from good enough for a striker at a club of Arsenal’s ambitions, and it would make sense for him to be on his way out while the transfer window remains open for some European clubs.

Welbeck to Galatasaray certainly seems like a move that makes sense, and it may be that something could be announced soon.

Where will Arsenal finish in their first season under Unai Emery?
