Word is doing the rounds on Twitter that Andreas Pereira is out of the Manchester United squad to take on Burnley in the Premier League this afternoon.
It’s not entirely clear what the source of this rumour is, though it seems fans are reacting to the fact that the youngster has not been seen travelling with the United squad for the game at Turf Moor.
Pereira shone for the Red Devils in pre-season after returning from loan, while the club’s other midfielders haven’t exactly done much to keep him out of the side.

Summer signing Fred has been slow to get going, while Paul Pogba looks low on confidence so far as United have lost two of their opening three league matches.
Jose Mourinho must be under pressure to get things back on track this afternoon, and that pressure will surely grow if it’s true Pereira isn’t involved.
These fans are not at all happy with the news that the 22-year-old looks set to be left out, and are raging at Mourinho on Twitter…
