£200m superstar learning English as he eyes up shock Arsenal or Chelsea transfers over Manchester United

Paris Saint-Germain superstar Neymar is reportedly ‘in love’ with London and has told friends he’d rather join Arsenal or Chelsea if he were to ever seal a transfer to the Premier League.

This is according to a stunning claim from the Daily Express, who report the Brazil international’s love for the UK capital means he’s more likely to end up at the Gunners or the Blues one day than he is at Manchester United.

And although Neymar does not currently speak English fluently, the Express claim he is learning, though it’s by no means certain he will definitely end up in the Premier League.

Still, it’s good news for Arsenal and Chelsea if he does wind up making the move to England, as they’d somewhat surprisingly be his preferred destinations.

The 26-year-old already stunned world football with his £200million move from Barcelona to PSG last season, so who knows if he could make another shock decision in the future?

That said, it would rely on Arsenal and Chelsea paying his huge wages, as well as what would likely be a mammoth transfer fee to prise him away from the Parc des Princes.

In the past, Roman Abramovich might have been able to afford such a deal for CFC, though they no longer look one of the major players in the transfer market after some questionable recent purchases.

Arsenal, meanwhile, do not have the kind of money of many of their Premier League or European rivals, so something would likely have to change at the Emirates Stadium if they were to be able to afford Neymar.

Still, this is encouraging news and we’ve arguably seen stranger things happen in football…
