Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot has reportedly agreed terms on a transfer to Liverpool in the last 24 hours.

This update comes from Spanish source Don Balon, who state Real Madrid have missed out on Rabiot to the Reds, with the France international set to move to Anfield on a free in the summer after talks in the last 24 hours.

Rabiot’s PSG contract will expire at the end of this season, leaving him free to move on from the Parc des Princes, and it seems Liverpool will be his next destination.

Don Balon add that other clubs were not willing to pay €25million to sign the 23-year-old this January, and this has seemingly seen LFC edge ahead of their rivals.

This follows a report yesterday from Paris United stating that if Rabiot were to ever move to the Premier League, Liverpool would be his preferred destination over the likes of Tottenham.

This looks like good news for Jurgen Klopp, who could do with more options in that position as Naby Keita has struggled to settle since joining last summer.

Rabiot could also be an upgrade on players like Jordan Henderson and James Milner, with the young Frenchman showing the potential to improve to become one of the finest in Europe in his position.
