Real Madrid could include star requested by PSG in swap deal for Neymar

Real Madrid could reportedly include Casemiro in an offer to try and convince Paris Saint-Germain to sell Neymar this summer.

Los Blancos have already had a busy summer, as they’ve officially announced the signings of Eder Militao, Luka Jovic, Eden Hazard and Ferland Mendy.

However it doesn’t appear as though they will stop there, as Marca report that Zinedine Zidane could now be willing to include Casemiro in a deal which could see Neymar move to the Bernabeu.

It’s noted that PSG are in need of a defensive midfielder and Zidane’s reliance on the Brazilian international has eased, and so he could now be used to lower the potential transfer fee demanded by the reigning Ligue 1 champions.

It would appear as though Real Madrid will face stiff competition from their rivals Barcelona though, as the Daily Mail note that up to three players could be included in an exchange with PSG to secure a reunion with Neymar at the Nou Camp.

As a result, it would appear as though both Spanish giants are preparing bids for the Brazilian superstar, and it comes after intense speculation at the start of the week that PSG are now ready to sell him, as noted by the Mirror.

Time will tell who can strike an agreement, but with Real Madrid ending the season trophyless and 19 points off the pace set by the Catalan giants, managing just 63 goals in 38 La Liga games compared to scoring over 100 in three of the last four campaigns, bolstering Zidane’s attack was always going to be a priority this summer.

They’ve already done so with the signings of Hazard and Jovic, but it could be quite the coup to land Neymar now too, while also simultaneously dealing a major blow to Barcelona, assuming that both sides are genuinely pushing for a deal.
