Borussia Dortmund manager Lucien Favre proved his class to the football world before the first leg of BVB’s Champions League knockout clash vs Tottenham.
Favre surprised fans when he appeared to snub a handshake with Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino when the pair met as they took their positions before kick-off.
Favre’s bizarre actions actually showcase just how much of a gentleman the Swiss boss is; the 61-year-old refused to shake Pochettino’s hand as he didn’t want to spread the flu to his opponent number.
Favre, the gent, refuses to shake Pochettino’s hand prior to the match…because he missed Saturday’s game with the flu and doesn’t want to pass it on!

Favre has worked wonders with Dortmund’s squad this season, the Swiss boss’ exploits this campaign are the reason why Dortmund currently occupy first place in the Bundesliga.
Dortmund are five points ahead of Bayern Munich and Favre might be the man to put a stop to the Bavarians domination of the German league.
