Recalling their first wedding anniversary getaway to Miami in June, Alex, 25, told the Daily Mirror: ‘We didn’t leave the pool on holiday because Steven doesn’t like to get his feet dirty in the sand. The pool is cleaner.

I guess settling down on a warm beach and sinking your toes into the sand isn’t something Gerrard dreams about. To him, this is probably a recurring nightmare he has on a nightly basis.
