Barcelona ace Messi scores a goal every 31 seconds for his Nou Camp side, well maybe not every 31 seconds, but bloody well very often. In this latest Adidas advert the Argentine has taken to doing kick-ups….with a football boot, which is clearly very strange and makes you wonder who’s idea it was and why they came up with it. That said the camera trickery is done well and the boots look good.

It seems that since the Nike World Cup ad, the heat is on to try and continually top the previous promotional video. This latest one for the AM90 is good, but not THAT good. Note Arsenal players in this one as well as some other people we don’t recognise.

After Nike’s excellent Write the Future advert Adidas clearly needed to up their game, and up their game they did. Watch as a host of stars are paraded to a neatly re-edited Star Wars scene which we all remember fondly. Count the celeb cameos!

David Beckham and his beautiful mug are at it again in a new ad pushing the adidas Predator boot. Beckham is one of a couple worldwide athletes starring in the “Practice pop-ins” commerical spot for the shoe company. In this ad, Beckham takes some time to surprise a group of unassuming kids who are working hard on the practice pitch.
