Everton’s summer has been chronicled by two fan sites; Toffeeweb and Blue Kipper. While the Official Everton site has been glumly sitting on their hands, offering up the occasional chintzy article by Phil Neville in a vain attempt to slake the fans’ transfer bloodlust – the two fan sites seem to have the inside track on all Goodison movements. This is not great news for Toffees fans, who were hoping their club would land something in the region of £12 million for a striker who has become surplus to requirements at Goodison Park. However, just as the deal was set to go through, a medical at Craven Cottage has unearthed something which has caused the player’s price to be slashed. [Read the rest of this entry »]

The sale of Andy Johnson for a whopping sum – which could inflate as high as £13m – could open the way for a fresh Joao Moutinho bid from Everton; with only one experienced striker in the Toffees squad, is this a gamble worth taking? [Read the rest of this entry »]

With Fulham bagging Everton striker Andy Johnson for the massive sum of £10.5million – rising to a possible £13million – fans minds are surely wandering to one of the biggest flop signings in football, the Cottagers’ £11.5m capture of Steve Marlet. [Read the rest of this entry »]

For a week or so, the press has been telling us that Andy Johnson’s family are happily settled in the North West. As a result, Wigan were the firm favourites to bag the Everton man with the bald pate and speedy whirring legs. Now though, a completely different rumour is circulating. Word on the street is that Davie Moyes is starting to warm ever so slightly to the idea of letting Andy Johnson leave Goodison Park, and it might have something to do with the fact that he has his eye on this Argentine replacement. [Read the rest of this entry »]

Once upon a time, Andy Johnson was the 17th President of the United States. As we all know, he jacked that in ages ago, and he’s now a professional footballer with Everton, who – somewhat strangely – is being trailed by a veritable carousel of suitors. [Read the rest of this entry »]
