Jose Mourinho hardly ever loses at Stamford Bridge and this fact was proven again on Tuesday night when his Inter Milan side came, saw and conquered a Chelsea side who were reduced to ten men late on when Didier Drogba was sent off, but did the Ivorian have an ulterior motive for getting an early bath?
Well those funny guys at Studs Up believe there was another reason the prolific striker wanted to leave the game early and you would do well to CLICK HERE to see the comic sketch that explains all!
Still the exit from the Champions League may well work in Chelsea’s favour as it gives the west London side more time and energy to concentrate on their Premier League title push whilst direct rivals for the domestic crown Arsenal and Manchester United will have their minds on two big pieces of silverware.
Every cloud has a silver lining and all that.

Chelsea returned to the top of the Premier League with this hard fought win over east London rivals West Ham at Stamford Bridge. Blues defender Alex had put the home side ahead after a quarter of an hour but former player Scott Parker put away a half volley to level things for the Hammers.
The second half saw Carlo Ancelotti’s side put immense pressure on their visitors and in form striker Didier Drogba put Chelsea ahead just before the hour mark and Florent Malouda steadied the fans nerves by making it 3-1 with 15 minutes left to play. Didier Drogba added a fourth in the dying minutes to secure the victory and continue his own hot streak.
The win puts Chelsea back above Manchester United ahead of their crucial Champions League encounter with Inter Milan on Tuesday night.

Goals from Frank Lampard and John Terry gave Chelsea a comfortable win over Stoke City at Stamford Bridge. Carlo Ancelotti’s men were never under any real pressure from visitors Stoke City and the west London side eased past their Premier League counterparts to make it into the last four of the FA Cup.

I am sure Stamford Bridge full back Ashley Cole chuckled to himself when he noticed this attention seeking individual on the box last night. The endless laughter must have in some way made up for the shocking decisions he has made of late, and those decisions mainly involving bedding fairly non-descript (ugly) women whilst his incredibly hot wife lay waiting back at his million dollar mansion, or perhaps not.
The Chelsea man is now considering quitting the west London club apparently and all because the former Arsenal man seems incapable of admitting his own mistakes and taking any potential disciplinary issues on the chin.

Chelsea and Manchester City met in a match at Stamford Bridge that was in many ways overshadowed by the “handshake” between John Terry and Wayne Bridge but nonetheless a dull game sprung to life late in the first half. The Eastlands left back was to end up on the winning side come the final whistle after a end to end affair in west London.
First Frank Lampard put Chelsea ahead after being put through by an excellent Joe Cole pass but Carlos Tevez soon leveled matters but only after Blues keeper Hilario fluffed the Argentine’s weak effort.
Craig Bellamy put the Eastlands side ahead after Hilario again failed to stop a fairly tame effort. Juliano Belletti then pulled down Carlos Tevez and conceded a penalty and was also given a red card. Tevez tucked away the spot kick and within two minutes Chelsea were down to nine men as Michael Ballack collected his second yellow card for a petulant foul. Frank Lampard scored a consolation penalty in stoppage time.
The win puts Manchester City in pole position for that coveted fourth spot and leaves the title race wide open and gives hope to Arsenal and Manchester United who will be hoping to close the gap on the Premier League leaders.
