It is very rare that a day will go by without a significant news story breaking about the English Championship. It is a very exciting league with numerous twists and turns throughout a season. Interesting times at Loftus Road, and it’s surely no coincidence that this Italian has arrived at the Championship club to join the likes of Daniel Parejo and Emmanuel Ledesma in an attempt to land promotion for the west London side. Iain Dowie lasted just 15 games before he was sacked as Charlton manager two seasons ago and, according to some sources, he has been on the verge of dismissal at Loftus Road before the season has even begun. QPR are now commanding far more column inches in the newspapers due the involvement of Flavio Briatore and Bernie Ecclestone, both of whom seem to be investing considerably in the club.
