Newcastle and Manchester United stars suddenly end their feud

First we had allegations of Taylor calling Ronaldo “ugly” and Ronaldo calling Taylor a “Rubbish footballer, which had us all thinking we’d get a good week’s worth of media fallout as Pizzagate became Uglygate.

Alas, Taylor has now come out and said that nothing actually happened in the tunnel and that he and C-Ron are best mates or something.

“There was no bust-up with Ronaldo,” Taylor explained to The Newcastle Chronicle.

“I shook hands with him at the end of the game.”

If you’re as disappointed and confused as we are about the sudden turn of events, then you may find a good answer here.

Newcastle supporters: Does Joe Kinnear deserve a long-term contract for his efforts?

Joe Kinnear has done an admirable job since he took over for Kevin Keegan at Newcastle. Instead of shying away from the opportunity, Kinnear has jumped head-on into the mess and has tried his best to get the club out of their current hole.
