You have to feel sorry for the Blues. Don’t other clubs in Europe understand that Chelsea are the biggest and best there is, and that if they come calling for your multi-million pound assets, you should simply step out of the way and let them loot away? Milan are clearly not reading this script and it’s annoying when clubs such as this try to prevent Roman Abramovich’s world dominance. With Man City currently chasing Ronaldinho around like a little puppy for his signature on a £200,000 a week contract, you’d think the club would be too preoccupied to go after any other quality talent.
Well if you thought that, then you would be completely wrong. Aside from also trying to sign CSKA striker Jo, the club also has their eye on another striker in the form of Bayern ace Lukas Podolski. Reports coming from Bild German Daily said the Euro 2008 goalscorer could be keen to move this summer after the competition.

First it was Jo, then it was Ronaldinho, and now Man City are being linked with Podolski? You have to wonder where all these funds are going to come from, and who might have to be sold if Thaksin is even going to fund two of the three.
Would Man City supporters welcome a move for Podolski, even with the club already chasing Jo as their striker target? Or do you think his lack of form at the Bundesliga club should be reason enough for Man City to steer clear?
