Apparently Becks and the RSL boss has a few run-ins during this MLS encounter and at the final whistle, whilst David Beckham was shaking opposition players hands he didn’t like what the opposition boss remarked. Spotted on 101 Great Goals.

Clearly we realise this photo is nothing more than an unfortunate capturing of a totally innocent moment between the two MLS stars. However it does also look like the two footballing super powers may in fact be more than ‘just good friends’. Spotted on the excellent Kickette.

We feel duty bound to post this picture as it seems that everyone in the known universe has done likewise. This is of course David Beckham with his fourth child who was reportedly named after author Harper Lee who’s seminal work To Kill a Mockingbird is apparently Victoria Beckham’s favourite book of all time. This we have great trouble believing as the has previously stated that she had never read a book in her entire life, thus creating something of a major contradiction.

All in all it’s been quite a good weekend for Becks. He got to spend time with old mates Will and Kate, scored from a corner and now welcomes a baby girl to join his three sons.

Becks may well celebrate this goal but someone should perhaps take the time to teach Chicago Fire how to defend corners because it is not traditional for two defenders and a keeper to simply avoid contact with the ball.

Of course LA Galaxy star David Beckham has scored from similar distance before, we all remember his strike against Wimbledon in August 1996, on this occasion he comes mighty close but just fails to find the back of FC Dallas’s net. Spotted on 101 Great Goals.
