Celtic manager Neil Lennon has said that being linked with the soon to be vacant Everton job but has admitted that he has not received an approach yet, according to The Express.

The 41-year-old has been installed as the bookies favourite to take over from David Moyes ahead of the likes of Mark Hughes, Roberto Martinez and Current Cardiff City boss Malky Mackay.

And he has admitted that whilst it's flattering to be linked with such a position, he is refusing to get carried away with the speculation and will only react once official contact has been made.

"Of course, it is nice recognition," he said.

"Roberto Martinez was favourite yesterday and I'm favourite today, it could be someone else tomorrow."

"But all of it is speculation. I have a job here, I have a great job, a great set of players, a great support, so I am pretty happy here."

The talented young Kenyan international has had an excellent season at Parkhead where he has helped his SPL side secure the domestic title whilst also impressing in Champions League action.

Celtic midfielder Joe Ledley has waved off speculation linking him with return to former club Cardiff City this summer, Sky Sports reports.

The 26-year-old had been linked heavily with a return to the club where he began his career but has insisted that he wants to stay at Celtic next season to test himself again in the Champions League.

Ledley spent six years with Cardiff between 2004-10 before moving north of the border.

However, amidst fears from Neil Lennon suggesting that he may lose a number of his stars the Welsh international has moved to dispel any rumours linking him with a move away at the end of the season.

"I don't know anything (about Cardiff). I haven't spoken to my agent, all I can do is concentrate on my football and hopefully stay at Celtic," he said.

"In pre-season I can sit down with my agent and with the people at Celtic and hopefully come to an agreement."

Mauricio Pochettino's assistant, Jesus Perez, was in Scotland on Sunday to cast an eye over the three in the face of a prospective bid for the three.

They may face a battle to land Wanyama as he has suggested that he is happy at the club, but with a contract expiring in 2016 and a whole host of interested parties lining up to take him off Celtic's hand, the Saints may have to offer something special to bring him to the south coast.

Hooper has already been linked with moves to Norwich and Aston Villa at various points this season as club's want to see if he can replicate the 29 goals he has bagged this season in the Premier League.

Celtic midfielder Victor Wanyama has dealt a blow to any Premier League sides hoping to sign him this summer by reiterating his desire to stay at the SPL club, according to The Express.

Both Manchester United and Arsenal held high hopes of being able to tempt the Kenyan away from Parkhead after he turned down a contract extension last October. The Premier League duo are said to have had the 21-year-old scouted extensively in the face of the upcoming transfer window.
