Spurs to bid for EXCELLENT £12m star: Will surely help Ramos top four push
Juande Ramos is reportedly all set to bid for a Rangers favourite as the Scottish side prepares for a season without European football and the cash they would have claimed from a Champions League adventure.

Fulham striker in hot water after mime in front of Celtic fans - eek
If you dish it out, then you should be prepared to take it. That’s what many of us were taught from an early age, yet it seemingly doesn’t stop football fans from abusing footballers, before complaining when there’s a retaliatory gesture coming their way. [click to continue…]

FIVE IN, FIVE OUT: Rangers in £100m summer transfer plans: You’re the BOSS!
Imagine you’re the Rangers boss, we’ve all been there shouting our advice from the stands, complaining to mates in the pub about the latest managerial error, so now it’s your turn to tell your fellow fans just what your club needs to do in this summer’s transfer window. [click to continue…]

ONE Spurs star heads for £2m exit: He won’t be missed!
For a while now, this Tottenham man has angered many with his attitude on and off the pitch. It comes as no surprise that the valuation (placed above the chip on his shoulders) is much lower than it was a year or so ago.
Pascal Chimbonda has been told he can leave Tottenham for £2m with Aston Villa, Fulham and Rangers all interested. (Daily Mail)
The French full-back really does flatter to deceive, to be honest he went down in my estimation the moment he handed in his transfer request to Wigan minutes after their final match of the season a couple of years back, not a very subtle example of his using the club as a stepping stone. With Alan Hutton on board, Pascal is certainly worth getting rid of and I don’t think there are many Spurs fans who would be too sorry to see him go! Should Ramos hold out for more than £2m or simply cut his losses?

Celtic and Rangers go to battle for £4m Premier League midfielder: Which club should he choose, and why?
Rangers dreams of a quadruple faded as the season came to a hectic end but there is still no doubting the good work of Walter Smith and Ally McCoist and it does seem that both Celtic and the Gers are at a similar level now as both teams look to convert SPL dominance into European success. With that in mind a great many top notch players have been linked with a move north of the border and here is the latest one.
£4m rated Middlesbrough midfielder George Boateng claims he is attracting interest from both sides of the Old Firm. (Daily Mail/Daily Mirror)
32 year old Dutchman Boateng has been a fantastic servant for the Riverside club but after five and a half years at Boro it appears the former captain wants a fresh challenge. He could be a fine investment for either Scottish club, but who is the better bet? Celtic can of course offer Boateng Champions League football, but then again Rangers could do also (after the small matter of the qualifying rounds). Do Celtic and Rangers fans like the look of the former Feyenoord man? Which club has more to offer the tough tackler?

Rangers surely won’t spend £5m on Celtic flop!
Walter Smith is an intelligent manager who has worked wonders at Ibrox, so I very much doubt the following speculation has any basis in fact.
Derby County chairman Adam Pearson has warned Rangers they won’t sign 5m rated Kenny Miller on the cheap.
He said: “It’s nonsense. We’ve invested a lot of time and money into Kenny so the deal would have to be right for Derby County.
“There’s no financial reason for us to sell but, if Kenny wants to go to Rangers and the fee is right, we’ll do a deal.” (various)
Ok lets get this straight. Kenny Miller is hugely overrated, 4 goals in 30 matches is hardly prolific even if it is for Derby. Rangers managed to score 122 goals last season in all competitions, so I really do not think Smith will be held to ransom for the 28 year old. Am I wrong? Is Miller worth buying? Surely not! What do Rangers fans think?

£5million youngster gives Celtic and Rangers something new to fight over
20 year-old Burnley striker Kyle Lafferty is the latest subject of the Old Firm battle for supremacy in Scotland, with both sides rumoured to be interested in the 5 million-rated young star. Considering how tightly contested this year’s championship was, the summer transfer season could be key in deciding who comes out on top next year.
Both clubs failed in bids for the lad last season, which is a bit embarassing, but at least they suffered together.

Race concerns over UEFA finalists
As I excitedly await the UEFA Cup final tonight, I am saddened by the fact that the most interesting story I can think to write about has nothing to do with the football.
Yesterday the Zenit manager, Dick Advocaat, was quoted as saying that he would not be able to sign a black player as the Zenit fans would not like it.
I would be happy to sign anyone, but the fans don’t like black players. Quite honestly, I do not understand how they could pay so much attention to skin colour. Frankly, the only players who can make Zenit stronger are dark skinned. But for us it would be impossible. (Telegraph)
UEFA of course, have a zero-tolerance approach to racism and are actively promoting the “kick racism out of football” campaign, so Zenit will surely be dealt with for this openly discriminating signing policy, right? Wrong! UEFA appear to have done nothing but sweep the whole issue under the carpet.
Rangers have done so much over the last year or so to stamp out their own bigotry problems and have themselves faced disciplinary action from UEFA. Why is nothing being done about a team where there is obviously a concern? This is a team who are playing in the final of a major European competition and may well be representing Russia in the biggest club trophy of them all next season - the Champions League.
Surely UEFA need to take action?
