Spurs’ Martin Jol Now Bookies Third Favourite To Be Sacked

We would hope to have something else other than more Tottenham news but, given their crapness is the big story of the first few games, it’s a bit hard not to.

After awful losses to Everton and Sunderland, William Hill have slashed Martin Jol’s odds to be the first manager sacked,

Martin Jol has been slashed from 16/1 to 9/1 third favourite by William Hill to be the first Premiership manager of the season to lose his job after their second league defeat of the fledgling campaign. And Hills have cut Spurs from 100/1 to 66/1 to be relegated, and lengthened them from 80/1 to 100/1 to win the Premiership. Hills still make Spurs favourites, at 2/1 to win their ‘Without the Big 4’ market and also offer 4/1 Newcastle; 6/1 Everton;10 Blackburn;Villa.

Spurs also had a bad start to last season and managed to turn it around to finish fifth again, so there’s plenty of time for this mini crisis to be turned around.

Everyone knows it, which is probably why they’re trying to get their shots in now.
