After courting half of Italy, QPR have finally got themselves a new manager, Luigi De Canio. Who’s he? Well…
“The 50-year-old has led Udinese, Napoli, Reggina, Genoa and more recently Siena”
And he is a very happy man:
“I am very excited at this fantastic opportunity. It will be an honour,” De Canio told QPR’s website.”
He said, before adding with slightly less enthusiasm:
“I am looking forward to getting to work with the players in preparation for our game against Hull on Saturday.”
So, is this the start of something beautiful at QPR? Or is Luigi destined to become about as popular as his namesake Paulo’s political views.
