Tottenham after a couple of Arsenal players? Are you yanking our chain? Well apparently not, according to Mr Telegraph and his grubby vagabond chum Mr People, Spurs are planning to nick Gunner teenagers Denilson and Armand Traore(!)
However, the Telegraph then plays party pooper to these wildly cavorting rumours, soberly stating that although Tottenham might be able to prize Armand Traore out of Arsene’s vice like grip they don’t have any chance of successfully stealing Denilson. Spurs do have a not-so-secret weapon though, in the form of former Arsenal scout and current Spurs Director of Football, Damien Comolli – this sneaky double agent has extensive knowledge of Arsenal’s huge cache of youngsters and may plan similar raids in the future.
So with so many talented young scamps in their squad – how long will it be before some of the stellar starlets leave Arsenal in search of some first team action? After all, they have already proven that they are Premier League quality.
