Paul Robinson might have played his last game for Tottenham Hotspur, according to the Daily Telegraph. The England international (or should that be former?) was dropped on Wednesday against Arsenal in the Carling Cup and replacement keeper Radek Cerny claims Spurs are in the hunt for a new cat.
Cerny said: “I know that the club are looking for a new goalkeeper and every day new names appear.”
The former Leeds keeper has struggled badly between the sticks for Tottenham this season (not least in his last match agains Reading), and it appears Juande Ramos is ready to tolerate no more. The Spaniard has already told Defoe and Chimbonda they are free to leave as he looks to shape up his squad for the rest of the season. Will another Premier League club want Robbo?
