John Terry is on the comeback trail for Chelsea and he clearly can’t wait to be playing with new signing Nicolas Anelka, according to the BBC. The Blues captain is clearly delighted that his club have invested £15 million on a striker while Drogba and Kalou are involved in African Nations Cup football.
“I feel we’re getting everything, he gives us options and he gives us pace and that stretches teams,” said Terry.
“He scores great goals for every club he’s been at and has all-round quality and will be great for us,” added the injured defender.
The Frenchman has already declared his undying love for the club after making an impressive debut as a substitute on Saturday and it appears the love-in is set to continue when Didier Drogba returns from Ghana to forge a potentially formidable partnership with the former Bolton striker.
