Manchester City are this season’s high flyers in the English Premier League but not everyone is eager to rejoice in the glory. French midfielder Ousmane Dabo is one who doesn’t eclipse his disdain and disgruntlement at the utter lack of respect and chances that he has been gifted so far this season at the City of Manchester Stadium.
Dabo vents his spleen to the notorious British tabloid News of the World as picked up by Sky Sports in an interview which ought to make sure that he doesn’t feature in club manager Sven-Goran Eriksson’s plans anymore. Dabo is quite critical of the fact that he has been offered just one match and that too as a late substitute against Bristol City in the Carling Cup way back in August.
This is what Dabo told News of the World:
I would like to find a new club. I have no chance of playing here and I am very disappointed. I’m the only player in the first team squad who hasn’t been given a chance this season. After a while it gets so ridiculous that is becomes laughable. Even the kids got in the Carling Cup, but not me.
Seems like Dabo is heading for the Man City exit door. Not that anyone would miss the shaven head French midfielder much.
