Blackburn Rovers are hoping for a UEFA Cup position in the English Premier League this season and manager Mark Hughes is busy strengthening his forces. According to the latest Sky Sports reports, Blackburn are set to sign the Norwegian teenager Anders Karlsen.
The midfielder plays for Bodo Glimt in his native Norway (ever heard of it? Me neither) and has been impressive in his trial at Ewood Park. Karlsen is a Norwegian U18 international and is aid to be one of the most talented youngsters to have emerged out of Norway.
Hughes might not fancy Karlsen to work wonders for Blackburn in the remainder of the season but he shall certainly want the kid to develop under his watchful eyes. Maybe Karlsen could even appear as a sub in some matches and turn them around?
