Sky Sports reports that Fulham have signed midfielder Leon Andreasen from Werder Bremen on a three-year contract. The Cottagers are struggling for survival in the Premier League but will the 24-year old Danish international be able to rescue the team?
Fulham manager Roy Hodgson certainly thinks so:
”I am delighted that we have been able to bring Leon Andreasen to Fulham. He has all the attributes to succeed at the highest level and has the desire and application to perform well in every game. I’m sure that he will play an important part for us in the coming months and I am pleased that we have been able to add him to our squad which we will continue to look to strengthen before this transfer window ends.
Maybe the Dane will turn Fulham’s fortunes around. But one thing is clear: Hodgson is certainly not letting the Fulham ship sink without a rescue attempt.
