Peter Crouch is surely heaving a sigh of relief. Liverpool Daily Post has reported that the Engand international striker will remian at Anfeld for the rest of the season at least in he wake of a breaking news pertaning to another Liverpool sriker Andriy Voronin.
Voronin will undergo an ankle operation to repair ligament damage and this will keep him out of all footballing action for 6 weeks at least. With Dirk Kuyt not finding the back of the opposition net in his last 9 matches for the Reds, it appears the Crouch will be kept in Anfield fold for the time being.
Crouch was actually a transfer speculation this month after managing only 4 starts in the Premiership all season. But now that the beanpole striker will remain at Anfield, he might just pull up his socks an show how important he is to the club.
