Kevin Davies optimistic about Bolton’s chances of survival

This might as well send some laughter rippling across the room. Bolton Wanderers’ Kevin Davies is convinced that his team has grown stronger in recent weeks since the January signings made by manager Gary Megson. Bolton are just 3 points above the relegation zone but Davies is staying optimistic about the side’s survival chances.

Davies says:

We look a better team and we played some good stuff at times. We look a lot more solid at the back and are looking good going forward.

Bolton have signed the likes of Tamir Cohen, Gary Cahill, Gretar Steinsson, Matt Taylor and Grzegorz Rasiak and the irony is that they all played against Portsmouth on Saturday in the Premiership at Fratton Park but still lost. Can Bolton escape the drop? Answers on a postcard…..
