James Vaughan might be only 19 but he has already exhibited enough promise to convince Everton manager David Moyes to keep the player at Goodison Park. But Vaughan himself is not happy at his progress and is frustrated that he hasn’t netted for the Toffees since November.
The young striker says:
I’m getting a bit frustrated now, I think it’s about time I got a goal, so that’s the next thing. Obviously everyone wants to play and I saw it as an opportunity to try and get that position for myself so I tried to give 100% for the team.
No need to get desperate, young man. After all, Vaughan has played very little football since then and Moyes is gradually bringing him into the game. But you know, Vaughan is still a teenager and when you are of that age, you just want to go out there and play your heart out.
