Liam Brady to forge partnership with Trapattoni?

Laim Brady has of course done a fantastic job as the director of Arsenal’s academy and now the former Republic of Ireland international wants to do something for his nation. Recently Italian legend Giovanni Trapattoni was appointed as the national coach of Ireland and Brady wants to be part of the Italian’s unit. But of course he is not eager to throw away his Arsenal job.

Brady says:

I’d need to talk to Giovanni a bit more. I haven’t actually spoken to him face to face. I’ve only spoken to him over the phone, so I would need to sit down with him face to face, find out what he would want from me or what I could do for him and then obviously take it up with Arsenal. But I don’t want to talk too much about that because I don’t know what’s going to develop until I sit down and talk with Mr Trapattoni. I don’t want to give up my job with Arsenal. I love my job with Arsenal. We need to talk it over obviously.

Noble intensions of course but would Arsenal agree to this? Why not? If Brady is comfortable with both jobs, then he should be allowed to do them.
