Manchester United are on a high after vanquishing their arch rivals Arsenal 4-0 in the fifth round of the FA Cup on Saturday at Old Trafford and the feeling in the United dressing room is perfectly manifested by Wayne Rooney’s desire to meet Chelsea in the next round.
The 22-year old England international striker says:
I hope we get Chelsea. Personally, I’d like to play them at home and try to knock them out. After that we’ll be through to the semi final and I’m sure we can take things from there. The FA Cup means a lot to me. I’ve been excited by the competition from a very young age and hopefully we can now go all the way.
Seems like United are fearing no one at the moment. While Rooney would like Chelsea in the next round, it would be better for the nuetrals should that dual be saved for the final.
