These days Chelsea are not hogging the limelight with Manchester United and Arsenal staying in the centre of attention. But their captain John Terry says that it is actually good for the club that they are not being hounded by the press and remarks:
We like it that way. A few people are slowly mentioning us but we are out of the way at the minute and hopefully we can stay that way as long as possible until the end and then can put some pressure on. If we can keep winning and putting pressure on that’s all we can do.
Chelsea are 7 points off the pace in the Premiership and are into the last 8 of the UEFA Champions League. Since the departure of Jose Mourinho in the summer, the British tabloids have stopped haunting the club and these days there is a much calmer atmosphere at Stamford Bridge. Chelsea needed a change and maybe they could use that now to progress under Avram Grant.
