Villarreal president Fernando Roig has admitted that a host of top European clubs are trying to lure their custodian Diego Lopez. The Spaniard has been in impressive form since his summer switch from Real Madrid to El Madrigal and it is believed that Spurs manager Juande Ramos wants to land the player at White Hart Lane in the summer.
Toilet tycoon Roig says:
He is a big keeper and we want him to be with this club for a long time.
It’s true that clubs like Milan and Tottenham have asked about the chances of getting him but we have no desire to sell.
Spurs are also linked to Carlos Kameni who plays for Espanyol Barcelona. Anyway, Ramos seems to have made up his mind to sign a La Liga player to play for his side between the sticks next season.
