It seems a pretty done deal with the likes of Jens Lehmann and Gilberto Silva seemingly heading for the Emirates exit, we now have more speculation that a third is probably surplus to requirements.
Arsenal fullback Justin Hoyte is appears to be on his way out at the Emirates stadium.
The 23 year-old defender was disappointed to be overlooked for last Wednesday’s Champions League clash with Liverpool – even though Bacary Sagna was ruled out with injury and Aston Villa are keeping a close eye on proceedings in north London (News of the World).
I think it’s fair to say that Justin will never be a regular fixture under Arsene Wenger as he doesn’t quite seem to have the talent to warrant anything other than an injury stop gap player. I am sure all Gunners fans are able to imagine life without Hoyte around but the longer Flamini takes to sign a new deal the longer Arsenal fans will be nervously biting their nails. It is probably just a tactic to squeeze a little more money out of the deal, the Flamster looks very happy at the club, so give him what he wants and let’s put rumours of various Italian clubs vying for his signature to bed!
