Big 4’s injury curse continues with Rosicky knackering – when is it Liverpool’s turn?

The Big Four’s injury hoodoo continued unabated today, this veritable forest fire of cripplings started with Vidic, and then Rio contrived to injure himself, hot on the heels was Petr Cech who massacred his face in a challenge with Tal Ben Haim, and now we have Thomas Rosicky who just so happens to be out for the season. Either Liverpool are next or Rafa has a batch of Voodoo dolls that he is maniacally stabbing.
Granted, Rosicky has been crippled since the start of the year, but the latest is that his knee is getting worse rather than better with the Czech team’s doctor saying that:

“It is possible that the problem could fade away in two weeks, but it could also last for another three months.

“Since he has already been out for two months, we are in a tricky situation. [Czech Republic manager] Karel [Bruckner] is also very worried about it. Tomas is a big player for us and he would be a big loss.

“He can run and jog now but when he does it for a prolonged period of time it begins to hurt him. He would be afraid of sprinting at the moment and, as such, he is yet to resume full training. We are not prepared to risk him ahead of Euro 2008.”

Right now if it wasn’t for bad luck, Arsenal wouldn’t have any luck at all…
